A Beloved Place in My Heart: Esztergom. For some inexplicable reason, this beautiful Hungarian city has completely enchanted me. The Esztergom Basilica, an impressive architectural marvel with its imposing dome visible from afar, adds to the city's allure with its vast dimensions and rich history. We spent a pleasant afternoon in the city, walking along the banks of the Danube, whose beautiful panorama provided the perfect backdrop for the sunset. After soaking all day in the Esztergom Aqua Island, it was truly refreshing to wander the charming streets, discovering local artisan shops and cafes. Esztergom is truly a place where history and modern comfort meet, filling one's heart with joy from its magical atmosphere.

Our accommodation was in the neighboring Slovak town of Štúrovo, a beautiful little settlement on the banks of the Danube. During our stay, I absolutely did not feel like I was in two different countries, as the borders blurred, and the connection and intertwining between the two places were evident everywhere. Our lodging was comfortable and cozy, and the Slovak hospitality made our stay truly memorable.
